Where the data comes from

Data Sources

IsraelVC combines public fund materials, fund-submitted updates, trusted ecosystem sources, and editor review to maintain fund profiles.

Fund websites and official portfolio/team pages
Fund-submitted profile updates and correction requests
LinkedIn company pages and publicly available professional profiles
Crunchbase and public company/funding databases where available
VC Cafe and Weekly #FIRGUN ecosystem coverage
Public press releases, funding announcements, and trusted news sources
IsraelVC admin review, enrichment workflows, and duplicate matching

Source confidence

Official fund pages and verified fund submissions are treated as higher-confidence sources. News articles and third-party databases can be useful, but may be incomplete or stale. When sources disagree, IsraelVC may retain the most conservative public version until a fund or reliable source confirms the update.

What IsraelVC does not publish by default

IsraelVC avoids publishing private contact details, unsupported performance claims, confidential fundraising information, or fields that appear to be guessed rather than sourced.
